Learn how to transform fabric into a beautiful sunflower artwork using fabric painting and free-motion quilting.
In this hands-on class, you’ll first learn how to paint your sunflower directly onto fabric, creating colour, shading and depth. Once your painted piece is dry, you’ll learn how to use your sewing machine to free-motion quilt over the painted design, adding texture, definition and beautiful stitched detail.

This class is suitable for beginner to intermediate quilters. Basic sewing machine knowledge is recommended.

Fabric paints and project-specific materials will be discussed at registration.
The finished project
