The finished quilt showcases a color palette inspired by the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu in Peru, featuring a design that reflects the vibrancy and history of the Incan Empire. As the year progresses, the quilt pieces reveal clues, so you’ll always have something new to discover!

Finished Quilt Measurements
Finished quilt top measures approximately 60” x 66” .
The design includes one integrated border; additional optional borders may be added after construction to make a larger quilt (up to queen size). Instructions for cutting optional borders will be provided at the end of the project BUT are not included in the monthly block instructions, and require additional fabric.
Additional Supplies
Backing fabric: approximately 4 yards of 42” quilt-weight cotton fabric or 2 yards of 108” fabric (this can also be pieced from any remaining fabric on the next page once blocks are complete)
Batting: pre-packaged batting measuring at least 66” x 72” (larger if optional borders are added) Thread: for piecing the blocks and for quilting the final project. These may be different thicknesses
Binding: 3/4 yard of fabric to make bias-cut binding for the finished quilt OR store-bought quilt binding measuring at least 9 yards long.
